Overlooking the sea and garden, the restaurant at this hotel provided a picturesque dining experience. The ambiance was so delightful that I felt like I was dining in a scene from a romantic movie.
Bathroom window opened too wide.

Great value for money! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff treated me like family and were always smiling and welcoming. The location was perfect, close to the beaches, restaurants, and bus station.
Menu for breakfast could have been more diverse.

We had a fantastic stay at Happy Tuna in Hikkaduwa. Originally planned for just a few nights, we ended up extending our stay to two weeks. the staff made us feel like part of their family, always smiling and welcoming. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds pushed together to make a double. We appreciated the good quality mosquito nets provided. the communal spaces and restaurant were lovely, and the breakfast served by the friendly staff was great. we felt that Happy Tuna offered excellent value for money. 😊.

Great value for money! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious and affordable. The location is superb, just a short walk from the beach and close to the town center. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Definitely a place I would recommend to others.
There were a few drawbacks to my stay. The rooms were not well-maintained, with dirty walls and used soaps left in the bathrooms.

Clean facilities, upgraded to an apartment suite with hot water, helpful staff, overnight laundry. Convenient location near main strip and accessible by walking or cheap tuk tuk. Great value for money, highly recommended!

I stayed at a budget hotel in Hikkaduwa and had a wonderful experience. The room I initially booked didn't have hot showers, but the weather was so hot that it wasn't a problem. The beds were comfortable, and the mosquito nets provided a peaceful sleep. The communal space and restaurant area were lovely, and the breakfast served by the friendly staff was delicious. The hotel owner and staff were helpful and not intrusive. I would highly recommend this hotel for its value and great atmosphere.
